Richards to miss Leeds game
Wigan winger Pat Richards will miss Friday's game with Leeds Rhinos after spending some of the week in hospital with a virus in his hip.
The big Aussie has missed just one game this season when he sat out the game against St Helens in July with illness.
With Richards out, Cameron Phelps looks set to take over the goalkicking duties.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

The best form of defence is attack!!

Re: pat richards
I heard from Colin Clarke yesterday,Pats in hospital again with an infection in his hip bone.
Dont know how ill he is or if its only a course of anti-biotics and he will be well for the stains game.

I bet he will be really gutted, last game at home and not playing with trent on what might be his last match at jjb. Best Wishes Pat and a speedy recovery for saints game.
Re: pat richards
No antibiotics if its a virus. I haven't heard much about this type of thing before - could be very serious.
Re: pat richards
Sounds similar to what Jamie Ainscough got after being bitten by a stains player!
