Yes looked better two good passes on the left first half his best performance ..... but he only had the Leeds game and this one the rest of the year
Hope he improves but not confident.

I would guess that slug-boy wellens missed more one-on-ones than Mathers did tonight. Firstly George ran through him and then Tomkins totally mugged him; great to watch!

Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Lets give him a bit longer, not many British players get signed by the Aussies, they must have seen something good in him!

no they were just desperate to build a team or the coach was as deluded as brian noble and thought mathers was good.

No improvement by the cheerleader. Never broke a tackle, kept handing onto Phelps for kick returns. Fielding high kicks, help - luckily Saints knocked them on and the 40-20 that always was but was not given why oh why did he sheperd it into touch, he never attempted to go for it. Nothing lost re 40-20 kicks, you have to go for them. Thank God for the TJ.

No our major failing is the lack of ability to beat players. Fullbacks are normally one of the key players in this respect. Unfortunately, Rachel Cheerleader offers nothing in attack.

How can you comment on that when Karl has never put a Wigan shirt on!?
Kittwazzer was being sarcastic.

get off the lads back and show some support he`s had a tough season .he played great against wakey then got sent off for nowt .done owt wrong t`nght he`s been solid.i back mathers to have a top season next year.
richie mathers has had to come back from a bad injury in nrl and tbh all players have there bad patches so like mickw said get off his back and support the player if we support the player hes going to think right thats a confidence boost!

What utter tosh

He's getting paid a good wage, an excellent wage in 2009 for cheerleading. He cannot tackle, he cannot beat a tackle and if you think his efforts this year have been acceptable then Wigan RLFC has grave problems.

Sport is not a charity and if you want to shed tear, there are umpteen other players more deserving.

Doc Murray was better. That is how bad Rachel is!
