Apologies for the un-responsive and slow site today. This was due to the large numbers of visitors combined with the fact that the server ran out of disk space! I deleted about 60Gbs of logs etc and we now have plently again.

I've just installed some hastily assembled caching code that should speed the site up a bit. It only applies to users that are not logged-in.
It is very untested, but I think its worth the risk to speed up the site if its possible at the moment, so if you spot anything strange on the site please let me know.
