The suggestion for the blacked out JJB logo is a token demonstration that will in no way affect the players or the club on the day. Whether DW is still linked with JJB or not, anyone in the game or industry associates DW with JJB. We have another plan should we get a home tie in the next round which will have a noticable effect on the JJB stadium finances, but will leave that until we know if we are playing next weekend

Have to admit that the only form of protest that I could think of which would be visible to TV cameras would be the shirt idea already mentioned.

I guess it's a case of either digging out your pre-JJB shirts or taping over the logo.

:eusa16: Wonder whether it may be worth buying shares in a masking tape company given the amount of tape that may be bought by Wigan fans over the next few days

I know it's not original (however no-one in rugby league sings it) but I think an appropriate song at this point would be:

We'll never die, we'll never die,
We'll never die, we'll never die,
We'll keep the Wigan flag flying high,
'Cos Wigan rugby will never die'

Also a good comeback for whenever any team sings "Your not famous anymore" and "your not Wigan anymore".

try using the tune "she'll be coming round themountain"

and the lyrics " you can stick the flamin latic's up ya A**E"

Not too sure about the word 'flamin'! Sounds a bit strong just before the 9.00 watershed! Could we not use another one beginning with the same letter without spoiling the scansion. Flippin, perhaps? Or maybe another one which I can't quite grasp...its on the tip of my tongue!

I'll let you know later if I manage to think of it!!!!

This has to be chanted!! It a cracker! Easy to catch on, easy to keep the tune and easily getting the point across! Great one! :) [/quote]

Blocking traffic for the latics is easy; just keep driving in circles round the Saddle or do a circuit between the saddle and the roundabout near the Chinese restaurant at the bottom of Marsh Green.

Wouldn't need many cars to cause chaos on that route.

And the beauty of it is, if your car is MOT'd and taxed to date, you are doing nothing illegal. OK guys, what time do we start/finish?

Not meaning to be picky, but can someone who knows how to use a computer properly, make the Judas letters on the photograph bigger and in a different colour so that they stand out more.
