its because XL have gone into liquidation, monarch and companys like that are trippling there prices for a few weeks becuase they know alot of people still going or coming back off holiday and have already payed...
try easyjet to barcelona then catch train like a&l said... pretty easy to do but when we went we wanted to stay in barcelona instead glad we did aswell....

we took a chance and booked with cst, tea time sat. fly fri from liverpool 2 nights in kyriad match tickets and transfer from nimes.£269.going friday. the price has now gone up
