My defence towards his indesgression although there is little excuse to what he has done, is the pressure the players are under. The list is endless of the ammount of players doing things Carney,Smith,Riddell,Joey Johns,Thiaday the list is endless, on a day to day basis its too intrusive on there private lifes and somthing has to give and usually its the players state of mind or natural agression.

We have not heard a peep out of the supposed biggest badboy in the NRLs history since hes arrived (Smith)And the same would go for IMO one of the best stand offs in the World.(Bird)

Leon Pryce the best English SO in the county i would have him in a heartbeat even though i hate the bloke he would win us something which is far more important than our "Moral values" as a club.

Bird to be our next S.O IMO.
he might be NSW 6 but hes a loose...they have no good 6's in NSW. Did you watch the origin he was terrible at 6 ju8st another forward.

He may be a good 13 but a 6 he will never be.
Erm he was MOM in the first game starting at 6 he was also Mom in 2007 when NSW beat Queensland 18-4 he played SO:conf: So Braith Anasta is no good? niether is Jamie Lyon,Brett Finch. They have a good choice IMO.

With regards to media pressure how would you like it if i was putting you under the microscope every day, morning noon and night, going through your bins, following you around, harrassing the people you love just for a story for the best part of 6 years. He argued with his Mrs and then alleged to have hit her with a glass, it isnt acceptable in modern society but you cannot judge somebody as a player and a person on that incident alone.

Hell people have judged Feka on here and they dont even know the man. People make mistakes in there life you cannot condem them for 1 mistake its not as if hes murdered somebody in cold blood.
Anasta is no good you are, Lyon is a centre and FInch is a 7. Ainscough was MOM in origin doesnt lamke them class players does it?.........we played Farrell at 6. Scully got MOM at 6 against Aussies is he a 6 or 13?

Invalid argument really and he is not a 6.

Manly play him at stand off. I still wonder if he is returning next season (it might be him  ) as his British gf is homesick :o

Argue the toss yet again, the fact remains is Bird can play more than 1 position and we need a SO, hes had Origin experiance hes had international experiance so whats your problem? Hes been outstanding consistantly for club and country.

Braith Anasta is no good erm ok. And Whos Manlys SO this season and where are they in the league.?

IMO would be a good signing and at the right side of 30
:baaa: :eusa17: I never mentioned Greg Bird! Nor comment on Anasta. BUT did say that Manly's stand off was Jamie Lyon :omg: I think your omnipotence is slipping! :sigh:

Anasta is no good he always gets voted most overated player from his fellow professionals.

Inglis is a centre who plays 6 and where did Melbourne finish??

Both teams have no 6 and rely heavily on the number 7 postition for kicking and creativity....who won the Dally M award? (see what I mean).

If you use that argument then Hunt from the Broncos is a good 7 because he played there in origin.

There are not many good 6's around and after you look past Lockyer and Marshall the NRL is struggling there

I saw his dad "play" against us at Central Park (he broke his leg just in-front of where I stood on the popular side). Never played again!
