Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

Still, who are we to talk? We bombed a country on the back of a lie. Wakefield's sin pales into insignificance in the overall scheme of things!!
Is it not the case that being from Yorkshire is a greater sin

Sheep molesting!! ?

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Phil Clarke offers his own insight on the matter in his SKY column.
"Well Phil the Wildcats do it again! They were originally admitted to SL on the promise of a new stadium near the M1 which never appeared, and now they get a licence on yet another "promise" of a new stadium which collapsed, co-incidentally weeks after the new licences were issued. Is it too late to revoke their licence and give it to Widnes who actually have a stadium worthy of SL? I thought new SL dream was to provide 21st Century stadia to promote the image of the game. Bob"

PHIL REPLIES: Unlike most people I don't see the stadium as the most important criterion for a Super League License. It is disappointing that the plans at Wakefield seem to have fallen through, but let's not forget about their playing performances.

For the last two years Wakefield have been the most successful team in Super League in terms of how much they can afford to spend.

have as much right with there history as any other of the franchise clubs or bottom of the table teams.....

and if they want celtic crusaders to make it work in super league why have they moved the millenium magic, surely this would only benifit the game down there..

I like John Kear, the way his teams play, even when he's a pundit on SKY but chuck 'em out, bring on the Vikings!!

Celtic Crusaders is now a done deal.

Next licence will probably go to Thurso, Oban or Musselburgh!!

Nothing will be done.

The RFL can't admit to being wrong about anything. Widnes or Leigh should be there. If it hadn't been for Catalans then Widnes wouldn't have been relegated when they were and then may not have gone into admin.
