One word - yes. He's a cult hero and a mighty fine coach.

He was a friend of the man who bought Doncaster. That man is now leaving Doncaster. Hanley is following suit.

Shame the Doncaster public did not support their club.

I think Ellery would be a great addition to any coaching outfit. I know he's done a great job at the Keepmoat and Pete Green and the lads there all have a huge amount of respect for him.

Got a feeling Hanley will end up at Wire,

Lowes will not see next season out as first team coach IMO,

Still would love to see him back at Wigan, but realisticly can't see it happening,

Keep Wigan "Wigan"

Would be part one of my all time wishes come try if Ellery came here.Although as previously said can't see it happening.
My ideal coaching partnership for us is Ellery and Shaun the Almighty one Edwards.
Yes i know pure fantasy but i can dream.
Ellery would be a great asset to our coaching staff as Coach assistant or mentor.
Lets keep fingers crossed

The ideal position. Pay him a really good salary and make him responsible for elite youth development in British RL.

Am I missing something? GB coach 94 one win and two gubbings, A league title with stains a div 2 victory and he is the be all and end all of coaches. Might have been an all time great as a player but as a SL coach in a game that has moved on, I doubt it. Maybe as a second coach to get up to speed but as a replacement for Nobby you are dreaming,
