Pat's Kicking

Post by markill »

Does anyone else think Pat's kicking ahs been a bit ropey in the world cup? even at the back end of the season he wasn't as automatic as we had become used to. It looks like he is trying to hit the ball too hard with some of his efforts for Ireland.

Certainly happy that we have a few more back-up options becuase i think last season before Phelps arrived the first line back-up was Mathers.

Long during the season could not hit the target from right in front of the sticks yet at the back end he had found his form with the boot. Every sportsman will go through a dry spell. I would not worry about it. 2nd half against S he found his range again. A lot of pressure on those kicks. and it ony takes a fraction to fluff it. Jim
