Catalans Away

Post by jackoh »

Re the Catalans trip on Easter Monday , after looking at all the silly prices for flights , we intend to drive .
It` s about a 15 hour drive but will save hundreds as 4 of are going .
Anyone else thinking the same .

It would take some doing in 15 hours to be honest.
but if you split the driving it's possible.

Why not pile onto the coach then you can enjoy a drink on the way?

Not sure I would feel like watching a rugby match after driving that far.

That bridge is unbelievable.

Once you are on it you can't look straight down because they have put things at the side of the road to stop you.
I suppose it would distract the drivers and probably scare a few.

But you look out from it and just think "oh my god".

Our coach trip has now been improved to the same trip but by air - for the same price! -
(IF YOUR BOOKED ON EVERYTHING IS SORTED).
At least that is... while the flights don't change.

If you are interested in trying to join us call us as quick as you can - the cost of flights is out of my hands, the rest is no problem.

people are saying that there won't be much going on, on easter sunday in perpignon, so it would be great to turn canet plage into a massive wigan beach party. how about it? bring plenty beer and party on the beach all day .dinnertime onwards. hawaihi shirts aswell!

If you don't mind doing a little bit of driving, cheapish flights can be found with ryanair

Birmingham - Perpignan, Sunday to Wednesday
Bristol - Beziers, Sunday to Thursday

I was thinking at the FF is should ask a Question but I didnt.

Why not the club organise a chartered flight for the monday? They were willing to do it for the play offs and we did it in previous years under Uncle Mo.

We'd have 3 half months to fill a plane (not a week) and im sure with our good attendances in Perpignan over the last 3 years we could find 300 people to book a seat whatever the cost. Im sure we have enough people from WN1 who could afford it.

hi
just a thought if any of you are thinking of making a week/or a few days in perpingnan . ive got a static mobile home in argeles. witch is 20 mins from the ground anyone intressed look on my web www.asmh.co.uk .
you can get cheap flights into gerona spain.
with ryanair.
it takes hour 15 mins from airport to perpingnan in a car
or frogbuses.
as for driving i can do it in 10hrs from calais and thats just stopping for fuel and a piss . its along way over a thousand mile from wigan.
