On a different note, Wigan need an anthem

being one of the top teams we should have an anthem like all good teams do

our anthem was "down by the riverside" but RFL messed it up when super league started and we needed a name

they wanted to be called wigan riversiders but RFL said no.

think about we are still next to the same river so why not start it again?

fully agree with no swearing when kids are around, if they were your kids you wouldnt go f'ing and blinding at them or near them its just not right..

got to say i do my fair share of swearing at the top of the south stand, but its through the passion im showing, i cant get it across by shouting come on you cherry and whites, when im wound up it comes out i appologise....

but i do no a number of my mates arnt getting season tickets this year as they dispise home games, everytime they start shouting and chanting a number of people tell them to shut up, which isnt on imo....

I've never heard anyone tell someone to be quiet (unless their language was offensive) and I'm assuming that your mates aren't constantly swearing, so I agree that asking them not to shout/chant/support the team is well out of order. The people making the request are probably the same people that spend most of the game calling and texting their mates and chatting about last night's telly, as I have been unfortunate enough to be sat in front of before now. Either that or they would be happier in the West stand, that seems a nice for a nap. (Controversial I know
