Who will be Number 22?

Post by jayzn »

WIth the new squad being anounced last week - it has left the big question "WHO IS 22?" - with limited amount of money in the salary cap and Phelps being number 21 (being missed off the Winger/Centre slots) makes me wonder is he gonna be put on loan?!?! With the recent Leigh rumours - hopefully not as he is a great player and a part of our strong 2009 squad. But with a possible new signing being looked at makes me wonder if 21 (Phelps) will be loaned to fill the 22 shirt?

A big fat no-one!

Who is available? It would take around 12 weeks (at least to sign any antipodean with the necessary paperwork).

And ian lenighan will not spend on a transfer fee for a player not out-of-contract.

Yes I bloody know transfer fees do not count on the salary cap for those illiterates that need it explaining to them because they assume everyone is as thick as they are

I think it is made free by possible mid-season loan-swap deals etc that happen every season... j.tomkins was 22 last year?
