Re: Next Weeks Team
In all honesty i would never play Bailey again for Wigan. We have too many good back rowers in the shape of Hansen, Lockers, Tompkins, Mossop, Hock, Farrell who offer so much more already!!!

Re: Next Weeks Team
I just don't see what he offers to the side. I think both Hansen and Lockers are better defensively, while Tompkins and Hock are better players going forward. Add to this that he is rumoured to be on a solid quouta contract. Plus he is slowing the development of youngsters like Mossop and Farrell by his very presence at the club. I just feel he is surplus to requirments. Lets be honest, he has been average at best during his time at Wigan. He is certainly not the Australian test player we were lead to believe is he? His quota spot could be used so much better.

Re: Next Weeks Team
We shall keep the same team IMO. Pryce isnt ready we all see that from the friendlies.
Roberts will play the only way to get match fit is playing games - i doubt Noble will put him in the U21s and put ainscough on the coach to 'ull

I am hoping Mathers gets a considrable ban. Absolutely shocking performance and a horrible penalty which deserves punishing and it will give others a chance to prove themselves-he has had one too many.Coley needs to be dropped straight away! He is just shocking, showed no promise last year and doesn't look that promising this year.Davies is immense and would be so much better than Coley. Feka needs to be used as an impact player off the bench as he is most effective when the opposition are starting to tire.Sam needs to be given a chance as he is good enough and will add another dimension to the team.Smith will get better, I for one can see his vision is awesome and so long as he learns how to tackle he will go well.
Please Nobby grow a pair and give the young lads a chance! They are better than the players you keep on selecting without results and will play alot more passionately!I think I will be speaking on behalf of alot of Wigan fans when I say that I would rather see a team full of Wigan academy products giving their all and perhaps losing rather than what we saw on Sunday.

ha if dreams could fly, the way the wigan team is picked is in age order
Noble: "How Old Are You?"
Mathers: "26"
Noble: "Great, another good wise head in the team, with bags of exp."
this same convo goes on with coley, smith, feilden, bailey and in the past vealeki

Re: Next Weeks Team
The only changes I can see Nobby making only because Mathers will get at least a one match ban is to shift Richards/Roberts to full back, put Phelps on the wing and bring Goulding in!!
