The problem with what he said in the wep this time for me wasn't that he didn't slag people off etc. I would not expect him to do that. It is the fact he is still going on about laying the foundation stones after having been here two and a half years. And that he is still twittering on about finding consistency when that problem should have been addressed last year.

So when he says this is that all a crock or what?
Dave
Hmm, the building / foundation thing does pop up often. He's got to say something and a crock is better than nothing I suppose.
I don't know how coaches view a team performace. Is it always a work in progress, is it a pyramid you progress up or does it reboot to scratch each year (like we seem to do)? If BN suggests we're still laying foundation stones, is the finish at the end of last done and dusted and now to be forgotten? I'm fairly sure Saints and Leeds don't have that mentality.
It wouldn't make a slight bit of difference if Hanley, Farrell or Edwards captained this team. Individually and collectively the squad is not good enough.
Having said that, I am sure that a good coach would improve the team.
