I know before I post this that you moaners will not do it but here goes. You want change then it is very simple and will only take two week to have change. Yip two weeks and Mr Noble will be gone.
Simply don’t go to the game until he goes. Things would defiantly change after two home games I promise.
Now I know you are not going to do it so please stop moaning and leave that to us proper fans that are willing to do this instead of watching the absolute rubbish we have been watching over the recent years.
Drastic changes need drastic actions..
How do you work out two weeks. Quins away Bradford home Leeds away Salford away. The next two consecutive home games are 27th March and 9th April. :eh:
sorry for not completely spelling it out for you.
Two home games, I thought the tread of the tread so to speak was evident!
So your saying give him 5 more games then No thank you
Meet you hald way. After the next home game the fans should demonstrate by doing a mass sit in and not move. Then you are seeing the game and then demonstrating later. Rememebr IL has 10000 season tickets worth of money already and away fans will come so he will get 10500 worth of money every game anyway.
The idea of being a supporter is to support, not to dump the team and throw a tantrum when they aren't playing how you want them to. Get a grip!!
Are you not going to attend a game untill Tim Smith leaves because he has a shocker or untill they dump Sean O because he drops the ball. You will be away from the sport you obviously love for a long time if you expect a performance every week, yes, one good performance would be a nice start to the season but it isn't over untill October. Phil Bailey said earlier this year, nothing is worse than playing to an empty stadium, to demoralise the team will just make them play worse.
Here is an idea, support them, get behind them, shout and scream FOR the team like you never have before and maybe then, if the performance doesn't come, more drastic measures may be needed, then we can talk about rearranging the team or sacking the coach but three games in to the season is very early on to start disowning your club.
Fan power is a stronger force than you might think, have your voice heard in a good way and BE the 18th man!

2 Do you support the team dispite the manager.
3 Do you allow them to play rugby or do you pounce on every error.
4 Do you support them in NL1 when they are out due to salery cap breaches ( portion of income rule)
5Can we sacrifies the points lost due to no fans to lift them.
Personally speaking I would say it is a no brainer. You are trashing your own car because you don't like the driver.

If you want action then take action
As usual a fence sitter
Not a fence sitter, just someone who is sick of the slagging players got on this site. Now when the predicted gloom comes you blame Noble, sack Noble, as someone posted elsewhere what top grade coach is available to replace him. IL has too much savvy to fire a coach without a backup plan. Possibly you will find a solution like Tony Rae's. Noble promoted to director of RL until his contract is out but until a suitable replacemnet is inthe picture like Mc Dermott IL is not going to fire Noble. A fans strike will achieve nothing. Most have paid good money to watch the game in their season tickets. Even with the disappointment last night how many fans were lifted by Ainscough's performance. If fitness is the major issue as seems to be the case. Game on game their will bean improvement. The team are relitively new to eachother. Each game that will also improve. Don't accuse me of being a fence sitter. I am not and never have been. Ask CP, DaveO and others. My view may differ from you but I am not sitting on the fence if I disagree,

Poor player attitude should be dealt with by the coach. Players may be at fault but the coach has the accountability the players have the responsibilty.
1) When at Bradford he followed a succession of innovative Managers (don't believe that is the case at Wigan), who had set the club on a strong footing. When he left, they have struggled for success.
2) His Team had some success but repeatedly had difficulty beating stains as they never had a plan B, and often played dumb football.
3) His sides rarely played attractive rugby, if ever.
4) He had the back bone of a side that had been together for years.
5) They were always the biggest but not the fittest Teams, and a significant drinking culture (I have many personal experiences with them) which wouldn't have helped.
So,
1) He certainly didn't follow improving management.
2) He still suffers from his team playing dull attractive rugby, and you now struggle to see a plan A on a weekly basis, let alone a plan B.
3) Our rugby is absolutely boring.
4) The backbone of our side continually changes.
5) I have no evidence as i now live in the Midlands, but they look like they're full of ale every time they go on the sodding pitch! I hope for Smiths sake this isn't still the case.
In summary, Nobby started with a poorer team than he inherited at the Bulls, has "arguably" improved it, but they have never played attractive rugby once, and I can't remember the last time that changing things around made a difference (tell a lie, it was at Bradford in 07 play offs). Although not entirely his fault his 1/6/7/9/13 have continually changed year on year, we see many of the ones who could have provided this consistency, at other clubs including Brisco, Tomkins (soon), Robinson, Newton, Wilde. None of these are world beaters, but with the exception of Barrett, none of the temporary incumbents have been either!
Visualise this, end of the season, Nobby still being at Wigan, us beating stains at old trafford after a tough game that say us play outstanding disciplined rugby, with clever plays which won the match. There are household names in the Team photo. The long term competitiveness of Wigan is back! . . .
DREAM ON!
I had visualized losing closely at stains or leeds away in the final qualifier (again), but even this dream is in tatters. The truth is that if IL does continue to support Nobby, nothing will change. Yes we may hit better form but 3rd place at best, playing dour rugby, talking a great story, and being completely inconsistent is not for me!
As per others, I like Nobby as a fella and feel sorry that when IL does take action, and I believe he will, he will struggle to get another job in top grade rugby league.
Final point, if Nobby did get a job at say Warrington, could you see him improving that team and it coming back to bite us. Can't say as I'm overly worried.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
Sorry watcher, just cannot agree with you on this point.I can see your reasoning behind what you consider to be logic. However,I think this can only knock the confidence of a team that is obviously suffering big time!I shall. despite my dislike of BN continue to support the team that I have supported through the good times and the bad times. Can you just imagine the laughing stock we would become in the eyes of Stains? And yes I am aware that Stains fans will be laughing like mad at our current plight. But please can we put our negatives to one side and show the team that we will support them at all times.Regardless of the fact that they insult us with the dross they serve up to us week in and week out.I shall continue to support because I love my team.I agree that a future sit in would do more good than staying away.
