Am I missing something or is it deliberate that when we defend, Tim Smith has a disturbing homing device that takes him out to the right wing. Whats the problem with the man? Why cant he bend his back in the middle and tackle?
We let 3 try's in yesterday due to his inability to tackle. The man was getting targeted on the right side.

He never was a great defender but his fitness and strength are now so weak he is a passenger now. Bi polar and alcohol have made him a pale shadow ofwhat he had the potential to become. He does not even have thestrength to kick a ball consistently a dozen times in a match any more (and he was a fantastic kicker) let alone tackle.

i hope that is a joke? how was amos last night worse than mathers is? he supported the play in attack and created a try. when he joined the line he looked positive rather than looking for someone else to throw it to. As for Smith, i can't stand his lack of effort or commitment. those who were backing his ability after wakey because he kicked a 40-20 (what a massive contribution in 80mins!) hopefully are realising that there is no way he should be in our team. His kicked made tommy's kicking look top-notch and his hand holding of ferres was a joke, if he'd gone for the legs he could've stopped him ten yards out, instead he played pattercake with the guy and guided him in for a try. I heard some saying it wasn't his job to tackle a second rower, but when a secon rower picks him out he should be able to at least slow the guy a bit so someone else can cover. And nice job of taking a tackle as the hooter went! he even gave himself up into that one without a fight.

the attempt at a tackle was pap no argument.
the complete slagging is also pap.
lets all try opening our eyes (both of them)
and watch a full game.
Lets try it with an open mind - no preconceptions.
try not be biased and try it.
there are plenty of players under performing not just the one or two that many on here seem to constantly pick out.
I still see the common denominator being Nobby.
