Re: YOU WANT CHANGE? FOLLOW THIS AND IT WILL HAPPEN!
The consensus is that people will not stay away from the games, a sit in is a total waist of time. We have had complete rubbish given to us for a number of years now so i think real change is now needed. Not going to the game would hit their pockets and make them stand up and take notice, yes we will go backwards at first but unless we do something then very little will change… So you the supporters are stuck with Mr Noble for the rest of the year and further rubbish to come with the set up within the club!

I think we saw quite a few stay-aways against against Cas, compared to Wakey - almost 3,000 of them. Season ticket holders won't stay away, and even if they did, the club already has their money. It's the "floating" fans that count, and we only got about 1,000 of them last Friday as opposed to around 4,000 of them against Wakefield.Wigan Watcher wrote:The consensus is that people will not stay away from the games, a sit in is a total waist of time. Being a supporter is completely irrational. The 10,000 season ticket holders will attend come what may but as Geoff aludes, it is not those that matter in this respect. It is the casual attender who is the crux.
If I remember correctly from the first fans forum, the way our rent works at the JJB is that a % of the money paid by each person goes to the stadium company up to and below a threshold figure. I think it was 12,000. So every person who attends above 12,000, the money they pay goes 100% to Wigan RLFC To make a lot of money, Wigan need to attracts crowds well in excess of the threshold.
So in away Watcher does have a very valid point. When Noble starts to hurt IL financially he may decide to act and even think the compensation he will pay is less than the money he is not making the longer Noble remains.
I have to say, nearly all the fans around me sid at the end, maybe it is a good thing we lost. That is how said this debacle has become.

I know before I post this that you moaners will not do it but here goes. You want change then it is very simple and will only take two week to have change. Yip two weeks and Mr Noble will be gone.
Simply don’t go to the game until he goes. Things would defiantly change after two home games I promise.
Now I know you are not going to do it so please stop moaning and leave that to us proper fans that are willing to do this instead of watching the absolute rubbish we have been watching over the recent years.
Drastic changes need drastic actions..

CP i thought we paid 10% of the gate receipts irrespective of how many fans were on be 8.000 or 25.000.

First game of the season always attracts more. I haven't been since, nor will I be going on Saturday, It's mainly financial for me, plus the need to have a day off work to travel. I will however be at the Bradford game the week after, regardless of whether we win against London or not, and whether Noble is stiil in charge or not. I will attend, I will buy the new shirt, I will support the team.

You sound like one.
I'm a Wigan supporter. I support my team through thick and thin. I'm not a defeatist "sack the coach" idiot every time things don't go smooth.
Wigan 2006 Saved from relagation by BRIAN NOBLE ---- after Rugby league deducted points
Wigan 2007 6th after further point deductions Got beat at Hull
Wigan 2008 4th 80 minutes away from a grand final Beat by Leeds
Brian said he would improve the team year on year up till now he has been true to his word. The trouble with you Saints fans is that you think Wigan supports are not Loyal
Well we are SO TAKE YOUR STAY AWAY TACTICS BACK TO THE KNOWLSLEY SHED. Sorry you are doing that already

Im technically a "floater"... massive average attendances are just a dream. One way of getting it up apart from winning is to have a megastar in our squad. The biggest currently being Hock (IMO) and possible Feka, Leuluai... not megastars.
