Struggle to have an opinion on Riddell and Roberts based on 3 matches this season but would keep everyone apart from :

Mathers - not as bad as some people are saying IMO but not needed when we have Pat and Roberts and Pryce and Ainscough etc etc.

Phelps - IMO not a utility player because his performances at 3 or 4 have been poor, just a 2,5 or 1 and we've got enough cover.

Bailey - not worth what we're paying or the overseas spot. Great bloke but could you imagine him getting in a top 3 SL side or most NRL sides?

O'Loughlin - IMO a true club man and i'm gutted in some ways to say this cos he's a solid player but he's put in a position that requires creativity and, frustrating as it is he cant offer it. Offers little more than Hansen IMO and we dont need that - play Tomkins at 13 and Hansen and Hock in 2nd row.

All of the above have contributed loads of effort IMO but if we were to replace anyone, i'd ship out these first.

WIGAN WATCHER not just you but a couple of other people on this thread obviously think they know what there talking about and know how to pick players for a rugby team but clearly dont have a clue one bit!!!!

How the hell can you say gaz hock, amos roberts and sean o loughlin should not be playing for wigan ? ?

Gaz Hock - sometimes clumbsy but whos not? very strong robust attacking forward with a bit more back up can create a lot of havock, defo should be in the squad.

Amos Roberts - Only bloody played 3 games for god sake, and i think bar ainscough was one of our better players against cas, took a lot of hit ups and positioned hiself well, also good in support, what do ya want after 3 games ?? talkin crap thee!

Sean o Loughlin - is it just me or before he was given the captaincy wasnt everyone saying how good lockers is ? still a very good player, good in defence and support just got too much on his shoulders coz you lot are still living in the land of andy farrell, give him a break, yes i agree to young for captain but still a very good player!

get a grip people and slag people off who need slagging off, not people who dont!!

How can I say these players should not be playing for Wigan...hahaha that made me smile when the evidence is right before you... WE ARE RUBBISH!

this is a stupid topic as you are all panicking when there is no need. would have left this topic until after at least 8 or 10 games. dont know why everyone keeps going on at smith when he clearly good in kicking game and hes a scrum half tommy is a hooker. cant judge robets and piggy yet as its only 3 games in to season.
