And reading some of your comments well well, pot calling kettle would be very very easy to say but no I will not join in your name calling.. Anyone is allowed to make their point on here and when someone comes out with comments about being a snake fan well it is total rubbish and so the comment is valid and does not need you to stick your comment in.Sutty wrote:Maybe you could take heed of your own statement.Wigan Watcher wrote:Either talk sense or don’t talk at all!jimofwigan wrote:Wigan watcher are you a Saint Helens supporter in disguise?
You sound like one.
I'm a Wigan supporter. I support my team through thick and thin. I'm not a defeatist "sack the coach" idiot every time things don't go smooth.
Wigan 2006 Saved from relagation by BRIAN NOBLE ---- after Rugby league deducted points
Wigan 2007 6th after further point deductions Got beat at Hull
Wigan 2008 4th 80 minutes away from a grand final Beat by Leeds
Brian said he would improve the team year on year up till now he has been true to his word. The trouble with you Saints fans is that you think Wigan supports are not Loyal
Well we are SO TAKE YOUR STAY AWAY TACTICS BACK TO THE KNOWLSLEY SHED. Sorry you are doing that already
Fool of a statement.
All this talk of boycotting the match, do you honestly think that it will make any difference at all? There are about 8500 season ticket holders and about 2500 regular paying customers. How many do you think come on here? Maybe 200-300 at the most. That would mean that you have to spread the word to at least 10500 more fans in order for this to happen. If you think about it realistically it will never, ever happen.
I am annoyed and dismayed as anyone on this site, but I support (and will continue to do so) the team and the club regardless of results. The club is bigger than the coach and sooner or later things will change. Maybe/hopefully for the better, or even for the worse. But at the end of the day, even if Pol Pot was in charge at Wigan, I would still be a fan.
If you went on other fans forums or on the BBC forum you would see that we are already becoming the laughing stock amongst fans because of our booing and suggestions of boycot!
We are the laughing stock because we continue to support a joke of a team.
see sense and make sense!

I don't feel I am supporting a joke of a team and if you feel differently then that is your perogotive. I am as loyal a fan as anyone on here and I will continue to support them through thick and thin. I take it by your demeaner that you are a more "mature" fan? I also assume that you were a supporter of this club when we were relegated in the mid 80's? How did you react at that time? Obviously the internet wasn't as widely used as it is today so you couldn't have vented your frustration as openly and to as wide an audience.
Lastly, I would like you to explain a couple of your comments to me because they don't seem to add up.
Firstly you allude to some of the comments that I have made could be interpreted as pot calling kettle. I'm not sure what you mean here. I try and maintain my views and opinions, therefore rarely deviating from one opinion to another. One case that this has not been true though is my opinions on our coach. I have tried to stick by my thoughts that he is the man for the job. However, I am now of the opinion that he has taken us as far as he can and that maybe a new face could get a better reaction out of the team.
You also mention that anyone is allowed to comment, and that is just what I have done. I haven't called anyone names and I have tried to post in a mature and literate manner, despite how I may have been feeling at the time. I could post things that would make no sense at all because they would just be a rant, but I try my very best to curb my "enthusiasm".
I think your attitude of "see sense and make sense" is one of an incredibly disgruntled fan who is trying his very best, no matter what it takes to have total clear out of our club at all management / coaching levels. Or at least that is the impression that you give judging by your comments of "joke of a club" etc. etc.
I have never and never will let actions either on the pitch or in the dressing room and board room affect my loyal and passionate support of our club.
Re: YOU WANT CHANGE? FOLLOW THIS AND IT WILL HAPPEN!
I fully agree with this post .
The only way lenegan will act is when it hurts the clubs finances.
The only problem is , we`ve followed this club through thick and thin times , remember Millward , we didn`t boycott the club then .
The problem now is , Lenegan , he`s again backing Noble , when the majority of fans want him out .
If Noble`s still here at the Bradford game and we`ve lost 5 in a row . We should protest in front of the TV cameras , this will pile the pressure on Lenegan .
At the end of the day he`s not listened to a word we`ve been saying about Noble since the beginning of last season .

First of all I feel you look at this forum differently to me…
I always keep my language in order and treat people with respects. I don’t try to have a swipe at someone unless I feel they have done so firstly. I feel that being called a Saints fan was a swipe followed up by your comments.. In my view not called for!
Going back to how I think you feel about this forum… I read it that you prefer to be subdued on your opinions and that is not a criticism… I tent to vent my opinions..this lead to what I would call very big debates. I never try to humiliate anyone, and will argue with anyone and yes sometime admit I was wrong or I now see it from someone else’s view.. I feel my approach livens up the forum, maybe others would disagree.
To conclude I would only swipe back so to speak if I feel there is a need too. I also think you are wrong telling some to take heed as you put it, I think you have no right to tell anyone to heed of any statement as this is a form of trying to restrict.
I hope you understand my point of view as having read your last post I think I do of yours.
At the end of all that I live and breath Wigan.
Re: YOU WANT CHANGE? FOLLOW THIS AND IT WILL HAPPEN!
Stay calm folks.
Remember if you do not know people personally they may take offence more readily (although bing called a Saints supporter is pretty much below the belt
for any of us) I usually tease the people I know in real life different from those I do not know. So calling Mike Binder a tranny is something I would not do to say Medlocke.
Above all relax everybody. We are all united by a common bond. Where's Primrose n Blue when you need a target

Wigan Watcher is claiming Noble saved Wigan from relegation, well he did save us from relegation by breaching the salary cap , we signed Fielden for a fortune and Micheal Dobson (who actually did save us ).
Where have you been for the last 2 seasons you can`t have been watching wigan with your support of Noble .
He can`t motivate a team don`t forget last years millenium debacle when we had to endure the taunts from the saints fans again just like the year before . I assume you went .
He plays a boring one man rugby style of play , that we played in the sixtees .
His team selection doesn`t seem to include our tremendous young players .
I fully agree with Sutty .
If there`s a Saints fan on here it`s you ! As you areobviously are happy with Noble , our style of play and seeing the Saints and everyone else wiping the floor with us .
Get a grip and start watching what your talking about .

Fair enough, we'll agree to disagree on what we think should happen regarding the current state of affairs.
Secondly, let me apologise if you thought that my comments were aimed at backing up a comment that someone made about you being a Saints fan. I hadn't actually read this particular post in detail and hadn't picked up on someone calling you a fan of "the over Billinge Hill". I know full well how passionate you are about this club.
I am not subdued in my thoughts about this club. As I mentioned in my post I try not to be swayed in my opinions, just because of things that I have read on a particular forum. I don't often post my thoughts on here (nowhere near as often as others any way?, The only/main reason for this is because I am often at work when I browse the forum and just take a fleeting glance at what is being written about various things, as and when I get chance.
You can have your opinions and whether I agree or not I wouldn't resort to name calling. I may, as in this case, post a reply if I feel I want to offer my opinion. But in most cases there are very few people who agree but some resort to various "tatics" in order to either vent their frustration or offer their opinion.

Can we stop calling each other Saints fans
Its tantamount to racism
Oh IMO, Michael Dobson was the key to us avoiding relegation. Replacing Moran with Dobson was worth more than any coach IMO.
