Mickey tries hard but grafts not everything, he was shocking for Wire Friday (NOT ON HIS OWN), stupid penalties bad passing and dropped at least three balls.
I think what it does highlight is the amount of effort much more talented players put in and in that regard they could learn a lot from him . I liked Mickey but he is not a great player he is a grafter who gives his all a most like able trait .

I would select Josh Vievers before Mathers.

I would pick PHIL vievers before Mathers. Hell, I would have Rocket Ronnie Braithwaite or Jimmy Birts back before I would entertain Mathers ever again in a Wigan shirt!
