people say it is long winded but I dont think it is, it highlights great moments in our history and significant moments in the clubs history, a general verse, sullivan verse, boston/ashton verse, 85 verse and 95 verse it is like a story and it would be great if the fans could learn this.

Think the song is great !!! Been sayin this for a while now that we need more of , or all of the fans singing.I know recent performances havnt been great !!! but we are WIGAN Ancient and lloyal. Atmosphere at the home games of late is very flat !! Wigan the club in my opinion are trying their best in regards to pre match build up, wot with the new giant flag and the fire works, max with his mini ball cannon. We need to do our bit and get behind the team come what may !!! Great idea to print some song sheets off and hand them out, may be one of the better known posters on here or one off the mods could sort.

Just thinking about this , if someone was to print off the song or even a song sheet couldnt we ask the stewarts or whoever to hand them out as people arrive or when actually in the stadium ?. A good way (maybe) to get everyone singing, would be for the staff at the stadium to do an announcement over the mike asking all fans to look at the song sheet and do a practice run , or something like that. It is goona benefit the club, players and the fans who may not know the words to some of the songs. Also good to show the away end wot we are about and make some bloody noise and a really decent atmosphere. !!

I was in the group in the kings bar singing it - made up by two of my friends, the best way i think to learn a song is at away games - more people willing to sing just keep repeating it and people will get the hang of it. Catalan and london have brought out the best songs.

probably will get an airing at leeds or even bradford pre match
