There was no sign of enthusiasm tonight.

At scrums we never packed down quick to stop the clock. A sure sign in my book of "dont give a toss" attitude. Huddersfield definetely wanted the win more than us.

Although a lot of 50/50 calls didn't go our way it was still a sloppy game for us we dont know how to play basic rugby and to our defence once again one step and hold in the red zone does not work.We are short of ideas we have no plan B we have no ideas once plan A fails alwright we muscled up tonight and could have won the game we had the possesion and could do nothing with it.I predicted the brawl before it happened i could see the frustration of the Wigan players boiling up.Nobby will see the errors made on Ainscoughs wing as an excuse to drop him but its all a learning curve as with Sam Tomkins he had a quiet game tonight also made mistakes.Persirverience is the key.

Message for Noble - the tactics where boring basic and obvious and thats why we were restricted to two trys

Message for Lenagan - SACK NOBLE for showing no improvement in 3 years and stop trying to get money off us with 3 stupid games and look at whats wrong with the club

If we get hammered by Saints (and I will be over the moon if we don't), that has to be the end of Noble. Good teams might have to battle a mucky Huddersfield and a crap ref but they still win. Any team coming to JJB now EXPECTS to go home with two points.

i have watched wigan since 1972,seen some great sides and seen some bad,boy are we bad, even when they are down to 12 men we still drive down the middle, piggy was non existant, half backs very poor near there line,we had plenty of ball in good positions in first half, but no one created nowt, dont know how much longer i can carry on watching this, its not just the loss but the way, when we went down a division at least we tried, might just sack this shower and watch leigh

Quite a few gave up after 75 minutes today, the East and South stands seemed to empty rather quickly.

Did you notice that Ian?
Anyway its no use blaming the officials, is it really, cos we ought to have won with the players we have got.

Pros
- Apple slices and grapes in a bag for 50p from Asda was enjoyable for the train journey home.
- Huddersfield didn't play as well as they could, less embarrassing for Wigan.

Cons
- Not one Wigan player had a good game.
- No organisation.
- Coley needs a sat-nav
- Completely out muscled by Huddersfield.
- Wigan players didn't look interested, not even in the fights.
- Many many many other complaints.

I must agree with the last thread , we had 80 minutes out there to beat Ths Giants wno were lying on and playing offside .
The ref didn`t do anything about it . The problem was we didn`t have a gameplan to counter it .
I know we nearly scored here and might have scored there , but the bottom line was Huddersfield played the basics right and got away with a lot.
We haven`t got a coach who can vary our gameplan and from tonight couldn`t motivate them either .
Another dismal show Mr Lenegan, how mush longer have we got to watch such displays .
