Re: Temporarily breaking the strike: Lee Mossop
cap?
At least he will be playing (hopefully) regular first team games, Tomkins (J) was in a similar position when he went to Widnes, Prescott to Leigh... could be good for the lad.

Strike? Have I missed something? Have the reserves clubbed together and refused to go on loan to other clubs??cpwigan wrote:Lee has agreed to go to Barrow on a 4 week loan. It will be announced in next day or two.

Flannagan and Goulding have also been offered to Barrow but both said they did not want to go.

Good move for him, IMO. He'll get much better experience there than in the reserves.

he said at the riversiders meeting on tuesday ,he would probalby go out on lone soon as the reserve level isnt of a very high standard at the moment ,and needs regular compettive games ,more of the young lads will go on lone soon ,this is not a cap problem there just trying to get more experience

I agree with Mike Binder, when I spoke to Mick Hogan at least a month maybe more ago he stated that he was hoping to arrange loan deals by April. Mick Hogan is in the right camp re reserves not being fit for purpose. He is very vocal and honest about it.
Wigan see Lee as a prop now too BTW.

CP whats the score with Flannagan,he's 20+ & yet doesnt make the 19 man squad. Is he going to make a 1st team player in your opinion.cpwigan wrote:LOL no Rich.
