thought amos looked alot better last night and he is certainly more of a threat than canderwood. he took the saints on well, he does look like he is beginning to settle.

Agreed, and a lot more defensively sound, too, except for missing the kick that Pryce scored from. Put in a super one-on-one tackle early on, when they were threatening to break through.warrior till i die wrote:thought amos looked alot better last night and he is certainly more of a threat than canderwood. he took the saints on well, he does look like he is beginning to settle.

cameron his a great lad and wants to play for wigan ,you can tell that in the way he talks ,i can see the sense in him getting coaches mom ,has he stepped in pats boots in the last minutes ,but sorry cp on a negative he did knock on on our line and did kick the ball into touch instead of putting his body on the line ,but seeing as hes been out for 7 weeks i will 4 give him for this 1 .he a great utility man dont think we have that many in the team as for a waist of quota spot not sure on that 1

Do you mean half time Mike? He passed it dead. I do not care about that. Sound tactic IMO. His knock on was a bad mistake.
Of course Cameron wants to play for Wigan. He has no career in the NRL. Wigan or the UK is his only option. I am of the opinion overseas players have to be special.

No, I think Mike means when he was chasing that grubber down the right touchline near the corner and side footed it into touch.

Re: Fullback: Phelps or Richards?
I can see see Phelps being a bench starter with Pat at FB. Reason being if tommy, mark, smith or sam get a bit stuck he can come off the bench or give the centres/ wingers a breather perhaps?
I'd prefer richards - someone mentioned his kicking we missed his boot

Re: Fullback: Phelps or Richards?
Here's a thought to ponder. Several posters on here, Geoff was one, that loud mouth from Standish was another kept saying why does Noble not play Phelps at FB. He never did until as per normal he was more or less forced too. Does last night and the reluctance to play Phelps at FB not look bad upon our esteemed coach Mr Noble who incidentally has toy motorbikes on his shelves at Orrell.
