Ainscough
Bailey
Coley
Carmont
Flanagan
Leuluai
Phelps
Pryce
Smith
I think keeping Ainscough will be unanimous, but what about the rest?
Contracts ending this year:
Re: Contracts ending this year:
Ainscough, I would think he should have a contract extension before his present one concludes. Tommy but it would be as a hooker. Carmont possibly, 12 months maximum. The rest at this stage, Goodbye.
Re: Contracts ending this year:
Apart from Ainscough I would release all of them
Everything they do is so dramatic and flamboyant. It just makes me want to set myself on fire!

Ainscough - Keep
Bailey - Go
Coley - Go
Carmont - Keep
Flanagan - Go
Leuluai - Keep on reduced contract as impact hooker
Phelps - Keep Utility Value
Pryce - GO

That should be enough money to sign a new prop and a scrum half.

Re: Contracts ending this year:
Ainscough - Keep
Bailey - Keep 2 years maybe
Coley - 50/50 keep if no other prop can be found
Carmont - Keep 1 maybe 2 years
Flanagan - Keep loan him out for a while
Leuluai - Keep don't care where he plays
Phelps - Keep good utility
Pryce - Keep, was highly rated as a youngster and is still only 22. Its always nice to have some size in the squad
Smith - Bye bye should never have been here.
Chopping and changing the squad every season is what caused (along with some other reason) Wigan to go from being a great team to being an average team. Stick with some current players for a while until a suitable replacement is found preferable an academy player. There is no guarantee that any new player will do well so stick with what works ok until you can find something that works better otherwise it can all go wrong very quickly.

Re: Contracts ending this year:
Re Flannagan. Folks you do know he is on a higher salary than Sam T, Ainscough, Liam Farrell etc etc. He is also the Godson of Brian Noble.
Re: Contracts ending this year:
He still can't be on much pay surely. And the second point is irrelevant to how good he is/might be. Shame we can't really tell from him just playing in the reservescpwigan wrote:Re Flannagan.
