Seriously doubt the number that would turn up Lockers & Ainscough as the 2!
I would vote for Ainscough every day of the week.

that is cream found in a top drawer

Ainscough is an obvious choice perhaps. For discussional threads like this the problem would be actually thinking about good performers and writing tem down. I like this forum for this reason.

I would still pick ainscough even though i forgot about oloughlin so what about Hock as my #2. The problem with hock though he hasnt played every game (well, ainscough hasnt) and at times has been erratic. But some glimpses we have seen are world class, i cant say that of any other player yet.
With Eamonn he started the season well and perhaps stereotypically 'showed up coley and fielden' on every match he has played. young wigan lad with strong performances, nothing flash just getting whats asked ofhim done.

Ainscough
Eamonn

James Slevin
Ces Mountford
And the “kind of rugby player you’d want to be in your dreams” James Leytham
Should be in the Wigan Warriors Hall
