Dave the players at Wigan and elsewhere simply do not trust Numpty. He is renowned for not being a man of his word. Trust is a big thing in any walk of life but especially sport and a large part of the reason why say a John Kear does so well.

Eclipse is perfectly correct in his post.

I did just that Cherry, can't believe he not playing and like someone mentioned eirlier, to include Pryce in the squad before Ainscough is an insult IMO.........

I didn't go to the Reserve game but saw the report in the Observer and it said that pryce was less than impressive. So what does Noble go and do? pick him in the 19 man squad for the 1st team.IMO it sums Noble up.CLULESS

He's simply not fit enough Gilly to even tell if he can play and I see no signs of improvement in that regard. Given his natural size he really needs to flog himself just to get himself in shape,

I told him today to keep his pecker up, as the supporters are all behind him, and that he is the most promising and exciting winger we have had since Jason Robinson.
If he doesn't know why he has been dropped, then whol the heck wil?! Because we won't get a straight answer from Noble.

That is correct though Josie, tell him to keep his chin up, and (I know he is getting annoid, gutted depressed about this etc) but tell him do not get disheartened as all the Wigan fans support HIM and not Noble.

Just out of curiosity, where did you see him Josie? What was Ainscough's reply when you told him that he was the most exciting and promising winger we have had since Jason Robinson?

Did it cheer him up (a bit)?

I've already told him to keep his pecker up, and that all the supporters are behind him and that he is our most promising & exciting winger since Jason Robinson.

I am utterly bewildered now by our team selection. Watching the academy lads today, and I reckon Ian Thornley should be given a chance in the first team he is a cracking centre and should replace Karl Pryce immediately.

I've said it before, I very rarely criticise our coaches decisions but I am now sadly losing patience and heart.

:(
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Thats the worrying thing CPW he's been fit to train since the end of last season and has had all the off & pre season to get fit and still isn't.He doesnt look interested. One more worrying thing is that Noble seems to think he is fit enough and ready to play in the 1st team
