Proven Track Record as people call it means "NOTHING" imo, 95% is down to the team. I think Justin Morgan would do fine, he seems to get the best out of what he has, team spirit and confidence is high at the moment in the KR camp.....

I rate Morgan as well, despite all I have (rightly) said about him for publicly slating Ben Thaler.

He is a very smart and astute coach, better than this dipstick we have currently got now anyway.

Dipstick is being too polite for Noble, I should say, an impression of a RL coach.

It is up to the coach to get the best out of the players and motivate them and coach them with their good points .If you think its the players fault that we are in a rut with outdated tactics up the middle style when the players would be more suited to playing more open rugby.Noble bought the players in or extended contracts to them he has been here for 3 years and have we are no better than then.

God wrote:What a load of toss, our squad is as good as Saints and Leeds anyday of the week. Its the coach who motivates the team and selects the tactics.

Riddell,Hansen,Prescott etc dont become bad players overnight and its the coach making good players look average with inept tactics and awful man management.

Justin Morgan on the other hand is like a Mick Potter they get the very best out of very average players.

Hull RK are nowhere near as established in the league as us, yet sit in second place having beaten Saints this year already. Potter had an outstanding season last year with a side thats been in the league only 3 seasons.

Noble inherited a very strong squad of players at Bradford and also Wigan but the differences between the two types of players in both squads is massive, this just shows his limited coaching style. Potter and Morgan have had to build from scratch. They are better coaches than Noble.

Noble came with a proven track record. He still has the most enviable coaching record in superlegue. Because things are not going the way some hope it is doom and gloom. If you watch NRL you will realise that the top teams are everchanging. Brad were dominant here. Stains and Leeds are currently up there with settled teams. Wigan has fresh blood in centres and backs. No coach is going to create a team overnight. I do believe rugby is improving and we will be challenging this season. The team Justin Morgan is playing with are big names with a new squad and they have performed well. We are similar but we had the dsadvantage of injured players on the way back. Noble has the problem of 19 first team players ready for action. Fans have their favourites as may Noble. He knows the 17 he is trying to gell as a team. Ainscough is a fly in the ointment because the team Noble wants to run with did not include him. The only logical replacement is Pat Richards our goal kicker. Then the other problem Phelps is hitting some form as full back. He is arguably superior to Pat in that position. If a player gives away a penalty, sack Noble. If a player drops a ball, Sack Noble. If a player is clostrophobic in the centre and charges up the middle, sack Noble. If players play expansive rugby they are not following gameplan, sack Noble. We have only won 5 of 12, sack Noble. Please note the 2nd place team has won seven so nobody is flying ahead. over half the season is to go. What we have to see is who has peeked too early and who will stay the course. Look at Leeds. Creaming it and crashed. Bradford coming back. Hudd last year lost first 7 and top 6 finish. We play for a season. Don't write Noble off because some on here highlight every flaw and scream SACK NOBLE.
:) :) :) Keep smiling,
Jim

How many games have you seen Phelps play FB for Wigan Jim, Indeed how many games has he played FB for Wigan in order for you to offer a view that he is a superior FB to Pat Richards. Yet you complain about other people having views :D
