The bit in bold RJ is what I am trying to get accross, that Ainscough would and probably will respond better to encouragement like a pat on the back, and maybe a "well done son, you did well out there today", and not the "he's not the fiinished article" and "he's still got stuff to work on rubbish".RJ wrote: In my experience most people respond better to encouragement rather than criticism.
That being the case why has Noble not gone yet when there has been bags of encouragement on here for ages?
It would be interesting to know just how many other really good young players we have waiting in the wings for someone to get crocked before Numpty gives them a chance.
That is exactly what it seems like to me. Ainscough, doesn't need to be reminded that "you let that try in", "you should have done that better, "you could have done this better", etc, which is exactly what Noble seems to be doing to him, despite Ainscough scoring four times.Wigan_Forever19 85 posted:
Its like he is bitter that ainsy is showing him up basically showing him that he is wrong!
No signs of a pat on the back as far as I am concerned there.
The poster that also said Noble made a mess with Ashton is absolutely correct as well, and yes, I also agree that AInscough has the same temperament and attitude as Ashton, and Ainscough maybe a tad faster?
