According to the screen, it looked to me as if Scully was messing about as Sam was trying to get up and lifted his leg/s as he was going to play the ball resulting in the kick back. Then, I thought that Scully then did an oscar performance to get the penalty. Sam is not a dirty or malicious player but will stand up for his-self :doz: :doz:
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Betham to SL about ST: dont kick out when your legs are literally 6 ft of the ground

Locky: Its never 6 ft Sir

Both: ok then, 4 ft (and then both walk off laughing)

What minute was this in.

Sculthorpe should surely have been on report for lifting the legs?

How thick are Wakefield fans, calling for the McLorrum try to be chalked off, there is nothing wrong with that that Hock did, Saints get away with it every single week.

Just shows what nonsense gets discussed on these boards.
Let me get this right you cry when somebody supposedly insults you but then see fit to try to insult umpteen posters. You cannot have your cake and eat it.

There may be more happening re Riddell than you actually know about.

Re: Sam T being "greedy" as one poster put it, i dont think for one second he is, I think the one thing he has got and a halfback needs to be class is attitude. The attitude that he will get past you and he is more skillful. Good half backs are cocky, long, lockyer, dobson, edwards all had/have a chip on their shoulder and aren't afraid to take matters into their own hands. Sam i think is better than Salfords Myler and probably the brightest talent to come out of england for a while he shows no signs of backing down and everyones trying to rough him up.

As for the game well, it was average performance but the encouraging thing is they didn't fold and faught their way back into the match, i felt the right side of our team particularly gleeson looked fatigued.

It was a team performance but my mom wasn't coley it was Lockers i thought he had a great game massive in defence productive in attack a really good solid performance

The best stand off's must be capable of going forward and crossing the try line, and in most instances (unless kicking), you cant do this without ball in hand.
Sam may get caught with ball in hand now, however, as his experience in SL progresses, he will get caught less often.

Lockers was my MoM too. Scrappy win, but that's all you neeed in the cup. After that nightmare first 15 mins, we always looked the better side.
