Wigan half-back Sam Tomkins was tonight cleared to play against Hull KR at the JJB Stadium on Friday after avoiding suspension.
The 20-year-old was found guilty when he appeared in front of the Rugby Football League's disciplinary committee of kicking out in the tackle during his side's 28-17 Challenge Cup win at Wakefield last Saturday.
He was fined £300 but the committee decided not to impose a ban.

where do you lot find the weekends refs from too?
The disciplinary on the rfl is here, but they don't always update it immediately. I guess they send out a press release, which is where Sporting Life get it.
For probably the first time in my life I find myself agreeing with the RFL. £300 fine is suitable considering a kick in the face can cause serious damage but the fact of the matter is it only happened because Scully lifted his legs.
if you watch sculthorpe in the 30th minute of the match he is tackled by smith and after playing the ball he kicks out at smith (no mister innocent is he)
