thank god for that. i see hull have got fitzgibbon and long for next season, both approaching the end of their careers. i think that is a risk because of injuries and form.

Sean Long Signs 2 Year Deal with Hull FC

Post by danny1978uk »

Have to say, i'm glad he isn't coming to us, but i think it's a strange deal to go to Hull Fc, He's obviously been offered Mega Bucks!!

From what I have been told Long wanted all sorts not just 2 years. In his second year for example he wanted to become part of the coaching staff.

We certainly expressed an interest. So did Wakefield

We need to be investing in players with potential not those past their prime. Myler or Brough are both better bets.

I would take Orford though SEFC but yes Myler would be great. Not overly keen on Brough.

Quick question though, were have FC found the money for both him and fitzgibbon, I would have though they were running very close to the salary cap already, which big earners are leaving there at the end of the year?
Wish list: Billy Slater please!!!!!!!!
