As long as it isn't the North or South stand - Bell End.

Think it is odds on to be Billy Boston myself although they could go further back such as Jim Sullivan or Lance Todd.

On a general note I disagree with the idea of it having to be someone who played at the JJB as our club is steeped in history and acknowledging that at the "new" ground would be a good thing IMO.

As to the Radlinski stand that wold be very odd IMO as naming a stand after a current employee of the club just seems strange to me.

Funny you should say that because when the stands at Eastlands got named they had a fans vote which thousands of MUFC fans hijacked to vote for the "Colin Bell End" but it is was named the "Colin Bell STAND"

I think it would be good if it was a fans vote providing there is a way to prevent any Saints fans hijacking it and then us having to see the club Proudly Present the opening of "The Jordan James Stand" or something like that lol!!

Boston the great player he was surely is a ledged and possibly there was no more dedicated player than Kris Radlinski but in my opinion the greatest player ever to have pulled on a cherry and white shirt was Sean Edwards. Perhaps if we name the stand after him he'll grace us with his presence to open it and maybe just maybe, if we have a whip round and ask him very nicely he might, just might want to stay. rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriing Oh! is that the alarm clock?

Be upset if it was anyone other than Boston, he is Wigan RL in every respect, the most famous rugby player and greatest, arguably. We want to show the world Wigan RL, the closest rival would be Edwards in modernity or sullivan in history (but nobody remembers his playing days I assume), no other modern player comes even close IMO, not a patch.

Billy Boston for me
"And Martin Offiah, trying to make some space, now then..." - Ray French, Wembley 1994
------------------------------------------------
Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Billy Boston is what Wigan RLFC is all about , A GREAT .
Boston still attends games at the JJB to watch his team .
WE have got an history , not just Central Park , and if the younger supporters had ever seen BB play , there would be no doubt about this discussion .
