Learn to play the warriors way this summer

Post by dave t »

What a joke !!! You can just see the first session.
Right lads and girls this is how to play the warriors way,
Firstly : It's not about winning games it's about taking part.
Secondly : Let's get the basics right and bore our fans to death.
Thirdly : We dont want any exciting football here it's all about not making mistakes.
Fourthly : In the first sessions it doesn't matter if you lose games, we want you to come strong in the later sessions.
Finally : Wigan was the greatest rugby league club in the world a few years ago it's now a laughing stock so you must keep listening to your coach because he will eventually get it back where it belongs in the bottom 3

would he not send them all home for being too young stating "duty of care" drafting in some o.a.p aussies to take part instead?

Attack Training session 1 (in a series of 1)

1)Get into groups of three
2)The fattest/unfittest/most Australian sounding person is designated "hooker" (NB definitely not the youngest/most aggressive/hardest working person)
3)First person picks the ball up and trundles forward (no more than 6 or 7 metres) and drops to the floor
4)Player then slowly regains feet (option to drop ball here) and plays ball to "hooker"
5) "Hooker" passes ball to 3rd player
6)3rd player repeats step 3

In order to add variety to the session the following steps maybe used

7) "Hooker" repeats step 3, but goes no further than 3 metres
8) "Hooker" drops ball
9) "Hooker" drives around car park in Mercedes paid for by the club whilst eating a Big Mac

"And Martin Offiah, trying to make some space, now then..." - Ray French, Wembley 1994
------------------------------------------------
Interviewer: So that obviously means that you're not going to St Helens and you're not going to Leeds?

Frano: I don't know why I would ever want to go to St Helens or Leeds

Also, if you lose to the worst team in the League, then you can go out to Benidorm/Barbados (or wherever they have gone) and have a week long p*** up and spend the supporters hard earned money on the booze that you buy!!!!

when losing instead of hurrying to form the scrum just slowly stroll up field like you have no worries in the world.

You weren't signed by the current coach so he is therefore under no obligation to coach you.

I laughed out loud when i read that. I am Secretary at Chorley Panthers and i am waiting for the posters advertising their camps to fall through my door.

I couldn't possibley put em up. We have a small but very loud core of St helens, Bradford and Salford fans within our ranks... Can you imagine the graffitti that would be drawn all over em??
