a certain ref in trouble......

Got something to discuss about RL in general? Then this is the place to post it.

According to Wikipedia, Ganson involved in an alleged incident in a taxi office on 4th July.

Neither Ganson or RLFC prepared to comment.

He was obviously drowning his sorrows, what with Wigan winning and Saints loosing what else could he do!

By the way the reason he sinbinned Sam was, and I quote, " I told him not to take it out on me just because Saints were getting beat at Salford"

I said at the time it was more than coincidence that the card came out so quickly after the result flashed on screen!!

It was on Sky Sports News this morning. On the bit that goes across the bottom of the screen. No comment was made about it though. Probably get brushed under the carpet as usual. Can't wait for the next time he's at JJB.

Saw it on Sky Sports News last night too.

Now having seen people arrested for “Drunk and Disorderly” behaviour (on the telly – not me personally, honest) the police usually try to calm the situation, and encourage the offender to walk away before actually making the arrest. It’s fairly safe to assume therefore, that the offender (Ganson) confronted the police, answered back, and wanted to explain himself to the person in a position of authority.

I wonder does he now feel hard done by or does he realise how frustrating it is not to be allowed to express an opinion?

G: Let’s sort something out. The decisions don’t always all go your way.
Sam: But..
G: Ok? Do you understand? I’m not interested in what you have to say.
Sam: Can I…
G: No you can’t. Alright?
Sam: Yeah, ok.
G: Here, get in the sin bin. I’ll do the talking!

Steve Ganson Arrested

Post by Shaun1967 »

Apparently, Steve Ganson was arrested on Sunday night for being drunk and disorderly.
Can't find any more details about this yet, but it has been mentioned on Sky Sports news.
Anyone heard anything about this?

If true, I would expect him to face a suspension considering what happened with Silverwood earlier in the season.
“Usually the fans that abuse players like Sam have never done anything of any note themselves. They’re nobodies, whose greatest claim to fame is abusing someone who has, and these so-called ‘Eddie the Experts’ pretend to their mates that they have."
