Johnson on any wages would be silly. We have young players lining up for a chance and the injuries and Hock siltation are what are supposed to be behind the idea of having academy and reserve squads ready to move up a level.

Noble plays Mossop like he is made of China giving him minimum game time while Hudds would welcome him back with open arms and have said so publicly. They would have no hesitation in playing him either.

Someone at this club really needs to get a grip make use of its resources rather than bringing in players like this.

We all know what would happen if he arrived now. Mossop dropped and no chance for the other young players.

At bradford there seemed to be a real lack of trust in Mossop.

I think he brings something different to the team - a bit of size and power outwide.

But going off the subject now

Bailey is on a very decent contract. More than Hock.

Just what is every-one's obsession with signing Danny Brough? A very ordinary halfback by anyone's standards with an above ordinary kicking game.

When was the last time any Lancashire team won any major honours with a Yorkshire halfback in their side? And how often has it happened over the last 50 years?

Yorkshire halfbacks and Lancashire teams do not complement one another - why not, ask Geoff lol

As for Paul Johnson, Wigan would have been better off signing Lee Gilmore if they were after becoming a retirement home for old ex-players.

Johnno never had the handling for a quality centre nor robustness for a quality forward

We should sign Jamie Lyon and play him at 6 next season. We can then recruit Myler for 2011 and slot Lyon into Carmont's position.

Please note IL that this is called forward planning!

SEFC next season there will be. Mr Gleeson.

However, I honestly think this is part of the issue re signing another big name prop. We have a huge amount of our cap already going on props with Fielden and Feka. Coley is on a decenmt contract too.
