I have one question that i need to answer myself is Noble a good coach or a lucky coach?

Thoughts- First half of seasons we were sh*T.Second half (the buisness end) doing well.

Two players who are playing very well are the Tomkins Brothers, both off whom only got their chance through injuries and IMO wouldnt be in Nobles 1st 17 if he hadnt had to play them as much as he has.

Or is this part of Nobles mater plan?
i also think phelps was unlucky not to get mom and no Noble aint a lucky coach
So if he's not a lucky coach he must be a good coach & that means we have to pay watch the 1st half of season Sh*t then.

I thought George should have been in with a shout for MOM too. He links really well with Sam - scoring one and making one, both from lovely passes from Sam.

He was clearly in pain in the second half; but was still very solid in defense.

Ian tonight he was awful and lazy. Buderus exploited him big time for not getting in position quick enough. He wasnt worth a place tonight. Everybody else earned their money. He stole it.

True, but he was the only negative, I thought.

First the tiny negative which was feilden, he was abismal, one thing io thought was very telling was when he knocked on after Sam T earnt the penalty, ion the past he would of slammed the ball into the floor and cursed himself for making such an error but he calm as you like went to form the scrum, he looks to me like a man who has now accepted he just is a totally spent force;

that out the way WHAT A GAME!!!!!, Sam T is something special, he has something that cant be taught or trained, his instinct is uncanny!, like cp said whats more impressive than the flash stuff is his reading of kicks and general play he is always in the right place at the right time!. Another thing that impressed me was he always plays to the whistle never gives up because he thinks a knock on will be given. The whole team (bar feilden) deserve credit, i could mention good things that all of them did. the way we stuck out leeds in the first half was really encouraging because they were white hot in that first half and against a weaker team would of ran in 30 points i reckon.

Great effort the only player who is out injured who i would say we would really benifit from being back in lockers, flanagan was solid but i still think without lockers we are never 100%

That said great effort and on that showing we have the gile and grit to beat any team in the league including. stains!.

oh and just another note is it me or does goulding looked to have dropped half a stone and picked up a yard of pace since being at salford?

He was always pretty quick, what stands out for me is that he's got his confidence back, knowing that he's rated as a good centre despite what Nobby (and some fans) think. His defence, yet again, was superb tonight, as it has been since he returned from loan.

I'd agree with most of the comments here. It was great to see the JJB - sorry DW - virtually full and full of atmosphere.

A great collective team effort - the second half was a joy to behold. I like the way Tommy L closed down Rob Burrow and marked him out of the game for a lot of the time.

Starting with Preccie and Coley seems to be the way to go. Apart from Coleys 2 penalties, I thought he had a cracking game. Out of all our props Fielden is having the least impact. Going forward he tries, but lacks any penetration in the collision now. Surely when O'Caroll is fit he's got to be 5th choice prop??????

What's happened to the team that started off this league so dismally? It's like invasion of the body snatchers and all the players have been replaced with better versions of themselves

Cameron was the coaches player of match, they announced it in the SS bar after the game, all the forwards came in too was a great gesture... Fantastic night all round :)
