okay warrior49 if i have an opinion on Brian Noble i will keep it to myself because it will hurt your feelings and Nobles Ego.

also i dont apreciate being called a buffoon for having a diffrent opinion to you

and finally just because i dont like Nobles coaching it doesnt mean im a so called fan.
i travel to all home matches and almost all away matches and spend hundreds of pounds on the club every year and love supporting the team just because you dont like someones opinion it doesnt mean your right

I love the way posts on here swing from one extreme to another- we lose (as we were doing earlier in the year) and people call for Noble's head.

We put together a few wins and Noble is the best thing since sliced bread and we should sign him up.

I don't particularly rate the guy- I think he is ok but plays boring rugby (excluding the lsat few weeks granted). However, if he gets us through to the final of the c.c. or gets us to the grand final then that would be progress, and perhaps he deserves another year. However, i'm not going to change my signature until then...
NOBLE OUT PLEASE- YOU'VE HAD TIME AND NOW MY PATIENCE HAS RUN OUT!

IT'S ONE THING TO LOSE, IT'S ANOTHER TO PLAY DIRE AND BORING RL AND THEN LOSE!

 I saw the title and thought great etc. I am not going to post because it is a thread for people who want to praise Brian Noble. No problem.

I wish I had looked earlier. 49 your views on Brian Noble are perfectly fine. Many would share them. Some would not but that does not mean you can insult them for simply having a different view. Perhaps edit your post?

I do not think I am being hypocritical. If I am./have been. Apologies.

No fridays game was not mediocre. However,I wonder how many of you were supporting Noble when we were down and out on many occasions?I certainly was not!I was supporting the team by putting my hard earned cash through the club as have many of you.I was never and will never be a Noble supporter.I stand by my view stated on numerous occasions the man supports boring rugby.I concur that we may well win the cc and a distinct possibility we may win the Grand Final. But if we fail to win either then lets see who supports BN then.I am all for supporting the coach if he indeed merits my support.I am however of the opinion that the leopard will never change it's spots.Noble will continue to advocate boring rugby be cause it 's the only way he knows.Peoples opinions may differ from mine and that is there right.I shall not. :D

I would like to read something good about him and that those knockers of him take off their rose tinted spectacles (and in many instances full leather BLINKERS) and actuially realise that this guy is the man for Wigan.
We would be mad to not offer him a new contract.
Sign him up and do it now.......

Keep up the good work Brian and please take no notice of these self righteous buffoons.
The team Noble picked was basically a no option choice.
In recent matches players like Tomkins (both), Moffat, Prescott, Goulding & Flanagan wouldnt have got a look in, but for forced injuriy changes.
They have all been top drawer.
If Noble had made some changes similar to this, earlier in the season, unforced, I would consider this good coaching
But he didnt.

Warrior49 did you enjoy the 1st half of the season? i know i didnt it was boreing and very poor rugby.

I hope that we do win the CC & get to GF, if we do IMO it will b despite Noble not because of Noble. If it was not for injuries ST,JT and the other would not have been given a chance. If that makes me a buffoon then so be it.

Regards Noble I dont think he is the best coach in superleague but there again he is far from the worst! When he came here the club was heading for religation and we had quite a few players here who just were not up for it.He steadied the ship and brought hard graft back into the team, his tacticks have not changed since his days at the Bulls, this is simple rugby and not exspansive like we at wigan have been used to.Question "have we out grown Nobby and risk fetching in an untried osy coach" also it takes time for a new coach to bed himself in unless he is taking over a highly sucsesfull team which ours isnt.We are still in transition and have taken time to blend in hence our inconsintant form. I beleive unless we have some top coach under raps it is best to stay with Nobby
