warrior49 since you have joined us can you edit your post i really dont apreciate being called a buffoon just becuase you say something and i say something different.

and Bluey, CP nor me nor anyone else as far as im aware claim to be a coach and you have to admit you were not happy with the first half of the season and the inconsistent 3 years if you were you have very low standards.

why do you two keep calling us 'so called' fans. we are as much fans as you i dont say your so called fans and your buffoons just because i dont agree with your opinion.

No, the fact it is in your opinion he is a good coach.

In my opinion the worst argument put forward to rubbish anyone's opinion that he isn't a good coach is that they are not a coach, or as you put it "I did not catch which champion super league side you coached" and so Noble must know better.

If that is what you think there is not point having a message board because clearly everything Noble does will be perfect, because he is a coach and all contrary opinions are therefore worthless.

When I was a kid I used to think teachers knew everything but as I grew up as we all do I realised they don't. God knows why anyone would put Noble on the same sort of pedestal a kid puts his teachers.

Perhaps people who have been watching the game for decades do actually know a thing or two about it?

There is one person who isn't a coach and who has never been a coach who's opinion will count in the end. Ian Lenagan.

He will one day decide Noble will be leaving but clearly by your argument he isn't fit to judge.

I don't agree with fans flip flopping result by result re their views on a coach.

Bluey I have been very successful at what I have chosen to do not that it has any relevance. Some people on here are incredibly successful. Again no relevance.

However, often smile when people throw the if you haven't done it how can you comment on people that have blah blah. Sorry but it is the most nonsensivcal retort one can ever make. Why? Well let's see if we accept Bluey view nobody can ever make a comment bar a handful of individuals. There would be silence bar conducted clapping at requested points in the match. There would be no internet forums, no newspapers, no debate/discussion whatsoever.

Moreover, the people who make this demand will then publically slate referees. How hypocritical is that or maybe the rules change because the referee does not wear your teams colours? How hypocritical is that whereby our views are transformed depending on whether it is another club or our own club.

Even better because Brian Noble achieve something in the past not at Wigan. He is untouchable. If so and the opinion isyour right. Just for consistency I want to see evidence that you fought to retain Alex Murphy as Wigan coach, Colin Clarke/Alan McInnes? How about John Dorahay? Graeme West? or better still Ian Millward? If you take that stance then please show integrity because by your thinking Ian Millward should never have bewen sacked by Wigan RLFC and Brian Noble should never have been here. Who did not criticise Ian Millward BTW? According to the rather silly philosophy of some how dare you none of you have the right to do so because of what Ian Millward has achieved and none of you have. He was beyond reproach / beyond criticism?

No coach can ever be sacked?

I want to see all these letter from said posters pouring out their moral indignation at Ian Lenagan for his appalling treatment of Brian Noble. How dare IL sit in judgemernt. He has never won a WCC.

Having read through some of the comments on this thread, it seems ok to call people lemmings for clapping Vievers and the MOM in the SS bar, or for having the audacity to praise some of our players. Applaud Nobby when he comes onto the pitch before kick off and you might as well be nailed up for commiting a cardinal sin.
However, put a comment on about keeping nobby or praising how we are playing and be prepared to be ripped to shreds or have your post dissected and ridiculed.

you may notice the absence on this site from some of our more regular posters. Why are they not using this site, it's because they are sick of being ridiculed.

Daniel Anderson - 3 years. Brian McLennan I think Leeds will grow tired if he stays longer than 3 years. Bradford had success sticking to 3 year spells but Brian Noble / The Bradford board broke that and they are now in a mess.

I don't think RL in Britain is helped by the old boys network that sees the media and all facets of the sport scratching each others backs.

Dont you think that some of the reason Brabford went into a mess was finacial they had a heavy debt, but as I said before it is always a gamble to change coaches and with untried coaches even bigger.Also the reasons coaches leave is not always because clubs wish to get rid of them, mostly it is a successfull coach wishing to extend himself iether finacially or to return back to Australia.I know I am not going to convince you that keeping Noble on for another year would be the best solution for us at this moment in time "thats if he is willing to stay of course"
