Got a hot rumour from a source inside the club, or just something you heard down the pub? Then what are you waiting for, post it on The Rumour Mill.

Very much Sutty. The financial / social cost of alcohol has for far too long been ignored.

Interesting. If Gaz gets a good van and a good pitch he could make a very nice living for himself (providing his runs it right). I know a few people who have been in this industry and all have done well, one is certainly worth a few million.

I often look at this type of business to add to the empire but never found the correct avenue. I might give Gaz a ring :D !

My best mate is Financial Director at Central Catering (they used to do the food at Central park) The owner (Bernard) is worth an absolute fortune. He's got a second business in the USA which was set up by funds from his Central Catering company. He's also good mates with Simon Moran of Warrington fame.
They don't do the food side of things anymore, but run all the bars and own the rights to some of the biggest concert festivals in the country, V, T in the Park, Isle of Wight, Reading and Leeds etc. etc.
There's certainly money to be made from a mobile food unit, if correctly sited. :D

By that argument, every time I buy a pint in my local, I am funding the organisations responsible for drunk driving, and alcohol fuelled violence. Ergo, I am indirectly responsible for every person killed by a drunk driver or battered to death in the street by some drunken thug!
Ergo you are not responsible at all. Talk about making 2+2 = 5. The people responsible for drink related deaths are the people who did the killing, end of.

Breweries do not use any money earn't to fund illegal activities. Nor do they indulge in violence and murder in order to run their business such as bumping off the odd wayward employee.
If I went teetotal, those crimes would still occur. By the same token, the poppy fields will still flourish whether Hock's attempts at rehabilitation are successful or not!
There is no analogy here. Money spent on beer is not used by brewers to fund illegal activities including violence and murder. Money spent on illegal drugs is.

Victims of drunk drivers and drunken thugs end up just as dead!!
