Sorry to rant about what's been ranted about soooo many times but tonight just showed where 200k plus of our salary cap is being wasted - Fielden sits on the bench for 20 mins then comes on and plays with less aggression or effectiveness than Prescott or Mossop, both of which cost us probably a quarter of that money put together.

I've ALWAYS previously stood up for Stu and like the guy as a person but as a player he's a liability - I hope Nobby takes him with him.

Watched Prescott talking up the game on the website, was on about how he was going to give his old mate Bryn Hargreaves a hard time,so what does he do when they come toe to toe....knock on in front of him,a mistake that leads to a try for them. What can you say? Just not good enough.

Preccy is a far better player than Bryn. In fact Ben Davies is a far better player than Bryn.

I think you are missing my point, every game it is the same players making the same mistakes. Coley,Prescott and Joel Tomkins all made errors tonight and it cost us,i know Joel gave out the pass to Carmont for the try in the second half, but he missed a lot of tackles,Coley and Prescott continually lying on and making mistakes at the play the ball.

What about Riddell's crap distribution and non-existant running from dummy half? Roberts rubbish positional play? Fielden's inability to break a tackle?

Preccy has been our most consistent forward this season and Joel Tomkins was one of only two players (the other his brother) who look liked breaching the Saints defence. By the way Joel gave out two great passes to Carmont but he could only hold onto one! So by your reckoning Carmont cost us dear too!

Ok Joel and Paul are only young players, but can you honestly see them getting any better? They remind me of a few players who we let go a while ago: Kevin Brown, Martin Aspinwall and Stephen Wilde. We made the right choice letting them go.They have not exactly set the world on fire at the Giants have they?

I think it is unfair to just point the finger at Fielden again- the whole front row was dire tonight. Feka was ineffectual as he kept getting passes whilst static from Pig & TL. Prescott seems to go sideways a la Fielden theses days and coughs up the ball at the wrong time. Fielden is a 'broken' man who's love for the game seems to have gone. Coley doesn't run straight either but could be utilised better as he has a decent pair of hands imo.

I have noticed no-one has commented on Hansen with his god awful line when all we had to do was move the ball out wide to score in the second half. What the hell was he doing coming back inside when we had an overlap...

The only people I rate in our pack at present are Mossop, MMc & Lockers. J Tompkins needs to cut out his silly errors as he is fast becoming as thick on the field as Hock. Hansen has not progressed under Noble. The rest of the front row are average at best (Eammon exempted as he has been injured for ages).
NOBLE OUT PLEASE- YOU'VE HAD TIME AND NOW MY PATIENCE HAS RUN OUT!

IT'S ONE THING TO LOSE, IT'S ANOTHER TO PLAY DIRE AND BORING RL AND THEN LOSE!

I do too. We brought on Flanagan for Riddell again and swapped about 4 positions around. Gleeson to stand off when Flanagan is better than him there baffles me.
