Thank you brian for the effort you put in inthe last 4 years, Yes we won nothing, but you saved us from relegation and lead us to some superb displays in the play offs coming close on three occasions, Nobody can solely blame Mr Noble as at the end of the day the players get the results if good enough, but the book always stops with the coach, so goodluck in the future and thanks, ps let the youngsters have there chance in future coaching and may be you will be surprised

No he didn't and that is probably the biggest reason why he lost his job. I will thank him for 2006 but the rest has been the same under achievement for 3 years.

get over yourself, he has moved us forward, as when he came in we were all but relegated. he managed to keep us up. then moved us onto the 3rd best side in the league.

so from dead last, to 3rd, pretty good. in 05 we didnt make the playoffs. when he took over we had been going backwards for 3 or 4 years. he moved us forward to challenging for every title. well done brian, and thank you.

any one who cant see this, please dont ruin a good thread.

I have a friend who works for wish fm, she has been talking to Nobby.
She said he is gutted and looked he was fighting back the tears when he was saying how proud he was of the players.
She has been told the press conference is Wednesday morning by the way!!!

dave sorry mate i have respect for your knowledge and post but if you dont think nobby as moved us forward since he got here ,you have been watching a diffrent team to wat i have,we were 6 pts adrift at the bottom of the league and not even thinking of a play of spot

Its not just about what he did for the team but for the club. The amount of work he instigated towards working in the community. Long before Mick Hogan & co came on the scene Brian was part of the partnership link for local clubs, he also played a part in whats been going on at academy and reserve level. Anyone who attended the reserve game last week can see the fruit of that one. Before people come on slating me I know Shaun Wane is the coach but Nobby was partly responsible for the change in the way the academy and reserves train, play and indeed are treated. I think we have a lot to thank him for. He leaves the club in a better state than when he arrived.
Thanks Brian
