IL on the appointment: "Michael is one of the most highly-rated young coaches in the game who has learned under a master coach at Melbourne in Craig Bellamy."

A bold move by IL. Could be as good as significant as getting Lowe here in the 80's. Time will tell but given what we know of Maguire, the people he as worked under and the recommendations he comes with from established NRL coaches why would even a born pessimist like me fail to be optimistic about this one!

Well done IL.

As the mood of optimism spreads around the board, I can only say I agree completely!

Good work all round - anybody any speculation about whether money will now be available for signings? Or will MM have to work with what he inherits?

Really pleased with Wane being more involved too - we need to ensure we keep our best reserves before the vultures descend.

Really looking forward to next season now

Lenegan really should get a lot of praise for this, he could he taken the easy option and given Noble an extension, or even given wane a go.

But he's pulled out all the stops and brought in a highly rated coach, that was chased by the 2nd biggest club in the world.

Watch the season tickets fly now, all we need to do is get the irelevant match this weekend over with.

Great news, I'm actually looking forward to my RL again.
