Karl Pryce
Karl Pryce
What a complete waste of a spot. He's so bloody lazy and dis-interested it's unbelievable. I watched him in the reserves grand final and he just didn't want to be there. Any player worth his salt would take being in the reserves as a kick up the arse and react accordingly, not this guy. My worry is if Shaun Wane can't fire him up then what chance has Maguire?

Re: Karl Pryce
I would say his future now lies in his own hands. Somehow I get the feeling that the new guy will not be interested in carrying passengers!maffstott wrote:What a complete waste of a spot. Re: Karl Pryce
His future depends on his attitude.
He must be fit, and not his ankle, general fitness if not he must be made too. How have players like him while being payed not been told to get fit? Yes if you cant walk past Mc D's or KFC thats down to the player , but a full time pro training all week and then a game at weekend should not be carying that much flab even with a fast food addiction. Attitudes of players and how coaches react to this must change big time.

Re: Karl Pryce
Pryce could be an outstanding rugby league player if he gained abit of confidence. He has a size and weight advantage over most people in the game, he does have abit of pace and is quite talented with the ball in hand.
Just like Darrell Goulding he is a young player not living up to his potential but with a bit of time and good coaching both could be very good players.
My two main problems with Pryce are; he takes a while to turn which means he can be caught out in defence and he seems afriad to use his weight. Someone the size of Pryce could easily smash people in tackles or break tackles but he plays like he is the weight of Sam Tomkins.

Re: Karl Pryce
Was talking to my mate about the new coaching setup and how much we are looking forward to seeing how we do next season....... And one thing that came up was Karl Pryce. I said given Maguires past as a Strength & Conditioning coach then maybe (and that's a big maybe) he could be the man to get the big fella in shape!! I never want one of my own players to fail and Karl is no exception, I really hope MM can get him fit coz like Dave said he has the potential to be a quality player!!

Re: Karl Pryce
Karl Pryce has been one of the worst signing the warriors has ever made!!!!. The guy just hasnt got the heart to be a rugby player and should hang his boots up before he gets hurt. Theres more to being a rugby player than being a big lad and Pryce may have the body size but has the heart of a mouse!!!. He'll never break into the first team and has been stealing a living being at wigan. Get rid and send him to wales with Nobby!!!!

For a spontaneous response, I think Liam Botham and Wayne MacDonald were worse!warrior1973 wrote:Karl Pryce has been one of the worst signing the warriors has ever made!!!!.
Give me a little time and I can come up with a dozen more!
