What disappointed me about Karl Pryce, was when he played in the Reserve GF.

All the lads had a meal at the stadium before going out on the town. Karl didn't stay for the meal or went out with the lads to celebrate. This appears to me that he is not a 'team' player :(
Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

Although i partly agree with IL about slating players not being constructive, (if i'm slated i'll just think blow it i'll not bother if my best not good enough).
I have to say having seen a few reserves matches this season with KP in the team, he does go missing does not tackle or make many yards, what annoys me is he runs around with his hands on hips doing nowt much. he gets paid for that if i stood round like that i'd get a warning and i'd be docked pay. (Fully deserved too).I can't beleive he's the same lad who played for bradford, somet has gone very amiss.

No. Noooooo. No way.

I refuse to believe that he's the second fastest player on our books. You're telling me he's faster than Phelps, Richards, Ainscough, Carmont......

Are you teasing? :eh:

He was given a contract with an option of another year
and the option could be exercised by either the club or the player. Calderwood had the same sort of contract and also exercised his option for another year here.

Whereas George Carmont has an option for another year yet wants to change it to a two year deal instead of exercising the option

To the best of my knowledge the option was only in the clubs favour.

In any case even it is was an option that could be exercised by either party, isn't it strange how a player many consider poor snaps up the option to stay but a good one has other options!
