St Helens - who's going?
Re: St Helens - who's going?
Knowsley Road didn't have under soil heating in 2002, I don't remember seeing anything about them installing it post 2002 but you never know.

Stains don't have undersoil heating, they can't even put a roof on the toilets ffs!!
Just spoke to a friend who works at the ground and they have the covers on the pitch, and are leaving the next inspection till saturday for the pitch and the terraces.
Just hope the snow holds off then i can get my fix of rugby.

Well, there is about 8 - 10 inches of snow where I live at the moment & it is still coming down thick & fast, been at it for about 3 hours solid now and the flakes are the size of half crowns

It's not necessarily the pitch but the terracing and surrounding areas that would cause the game to be called off. Same as the latics game Monday, the pitch was perfect, which couldn't be said for the surrounding area, only the main entrance had been cleared of snow & ice & treated.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan

I doubt this game will go a head. I live in 5 mins from the shed (KR or GWPRS) the snow was thick last night. i am sure the pitch will be playable ( remember Salford a few years ago)it will be around the stadium that will let us down.
