Rugby league gold - sky sports

Post by Dorsey »

As a relatively new user of this board this subject may well have been brought up in the past but did anyone else miss Rugby League Gold last winter on Tuesday nights on Sky Sports? It used to help my rugby league withdrawal symptoms and there has already been enough matches this year good enough for us all to want to watch again through the dark and dreary winter months. I've emailed sky to ask them if they will reinstate it and just thought it would be beneficial for us all if more fans would do the same. Cheers

Thanks nitsua, lets hope they listen to us. I really missed it last year and unless we ask them they will just think we're not bothered, they keep altering things and not always for the better i.e. phone in for man of match has gone and Boots'n'All is getting more like Richard and Judy show each week.
I certainly do record all Wigan games and have for some years although some have been recorded over where things happened I can't bear to watch again. Watched last Friday's match as soon as I got home & a couple of times since and can't stop smiling through that 2nd half - oh that the day had gone on forever!

Just had a reply from Sky about my request for this programme to be aired again this winter and they say 'there is no information currently available about this programme but they note my interest'. In other words 'forget it, we've dumped it' Great shame the winter will be much longer without it.
