Hull fc are putting their forum on the website as a podcast. Would be really good if Wigan would do the same for the fans who can't make it.
Gareth Thomas before his first game: "You wanna spend 10 mins getting smashed up by these guys..Big dudes here.."

Was quite boring tbh. apart from an old woman wanting a proper steak meal with her season ticket.

anyway may aswell make this a FF thread as it's sliding the slippery slope...

- Club to announce 2 new shirt sponsors on friday (adding c. 30% in sponsorship revenue)
- MH going to London tomorrow in meeting with potential sponsors for the 2011 seasons (No mecca I guess)
- Gareth Hock, there may be word in march about Hock's future. IL mentioned he's a third of the way through his sentence and are looking at him carefully and seeing what he's doing, and if he's doing things the right way
- MM happy with our squad
- Big One 2 to be even bigger hopefully and the 'Heinz' Day is expected to be bigger than last year
- not much else tbh

You missed the one about tying up with a NRL club to share the young players negotiations at a high stage with an Aussie club not disclosed should be announced in the near future .
Players going out on loan and dual registration MM to decide in the next few weeks who is going they will be players out of the top 21 earners MM to asses.IL said this is not just a palming off exercise but a project to give players experience
Recruiting for 2011 is in progress now .
Thought the announcement for Gareth Hock would be next March?
We are under the Quota for Overseas player by 1 we have 4 Quota 5 and NF players we have 3 NF 6 so in theory we can recruit 1 Aussie and 2 Kolpak.
IL went out to Aus primarily last time to recruit a coach had meetings with MM who advised IL about recruiting players .
It was MM who said he was happy with the squad that he had .

Don't post on here regularly but I left behind a beanie hat and scarf, under a chair at tonights forum. Embarassingly enough. I wondered if anyone on here has claimed them as their own? :(

EDIT - Retrieved them from the stadium earlier :)

Wigan Warriors held their first Fans Forum of the new season in the South Stand Lounge on Wednesday night with over 350 supporters turning out despite the snowy conditions.

Chairman Ian Lenagan, Chief Executive Mick Hogan and new Head Coach Michael Maguire were on hand to answer fans questions ahead of the new season which kicks off on Friday at home to Crusaders.

After the Forum we caught with Ian Lenagan to look back on the event and look ahead to the new season.

Anyone can support a team when it is winning, that takes no courage.
But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you,
that takes a lot of courage. #18thMan
