Be interesting to see the reception he gets from the brain surgeons who stand up at the back of the East Stand. When Goulding played in the Salford game, he was "Wigan Reject". When he returned to us he was "Traitor"!

That said, maybe those guys don't even know Nobby isn't our coach any more!

I'm more interested in the Wigan fans making some noise for Michael Maguire. Hopefully we will see something a bit better than the 5 drives and a kick rugby of previous season.
I'd go with that or polite applause at most.

It's MM's first home game in charge for goodness sake! Someone posted on rlfans they had finished a banner they were taking to the game saying thanks to BN for saving us from relegation. That was in 2006 and he's been thanked for that time and again already. Banners for the EX coach??

Mr Dave and DaveO have got it bang-on right.

We should be cheering MM and the present.

Let BN get on with his mongrel of a team who, by the RL's own rules - geographical considerations - shouldn't be in Super League. They changed location didn't they on which their original Licence application was based?
If I was a Widnes or Halifax fan + numerous others, I would be hopping mad.
And, the ultimate insult, being bought by a two-bit football Club!!
My Rant of the Day! C'mon Wigan!!!!

I am sorry but I think your timing is awful.

Making presentations to an ex coach before the kick off of the new coaches first home game is just bizarre IMO.
Not the time or the place IMO.

Why should I applaud a man I did not respect?Nothing against him on a personal front. What did he do for us apart from becoming the nearly team.Nearly did this and nearly did that.Wonder what the Wigan youngsters will be thinking at game time?I know some on here will not agree with my sentiments but I am not really bothered. :D
