I don't think so mate I can't say anything on there without it turning into an argument, I had Rogues having a go because I mentioned Amos in the Warrington Semi last year and said how much he had improved in attack but it remained to be seen what he would be like defending kicks on the wing. Thought I had a valid point but by his response you'd have thought I'd offended his girlfriend and apparently other players were at fault and not Amos, watched it again just to be sure and stick by my original point. Usually go on there every now and then to post then realise very quickly why I don't bother. Don't know how you put up with it.DaveO wrote:
I think I need an alias on rlfans as I bet if anyone else had posted it there wouldn't be a queue forming to disagree!
Dave
I think what makes that look worse is that his elbo comes up after the contact and when he's gone past the player. At full speed on the Super League Show yesterday, it seemed horrendous. After seeing it in slo-mo it's not quite as bad because he looked to put the shoulder on him but the winger stepped inside and seemed to slip, thus lowering his head in relation to Elima's shoulder. I'm not saying the tackle was ok, but I don't think it was as premeditated as Morley's was.cpwigan wrote:Oh Dave on the basis that it was H's fault for stepping then the same should have applied to Elima

I think it's relatively easy to pick a still shot to back up a point of view if you want to be sneaky about it but as I said above if you watch the video it looks worse than those two stills convey. Not that anyone has accused me of being sneaky but I just wanted to make the point I am not being selective in those shots.Panchitta Marra wrote: Excellent Stills Dave which clearly shows the illegal offence.
He seems to have assumed the role in some peoples eyes of some sort of elder statesman of RL forwards and so is above the law of the game.I was guilty of thinking Morley wasnst such a bad guy, as I looked up to him as a tough Brit capable of matching it with the Aussies.
With this evidence and the debarcle in the Wire v cas game, he is just a blatant thug getting worse in age.
There is enough evidence for the RFL to act and stop him using this so called tackling style, however, two hits too many before action has been properly taken.
